On this occasion, I want to make a series of creations in CD cases. I was thinking about doing work on a dark surface, and I remembered the pile of CD cases that I have stored. I had doubts about being able to color in a CD case, but to my surprise, its rough surface allowed excellent color handling. So now I know how to recycle my old CD cases
We all felt fascination for bubbles when we were children. One of the things I like most about bubbles is their way of reflecting color. Therefore, I decided that the first drawing would be that of a bubble. Here I show you the final result.
As I did?
To begin, I made 3 circles with the primary colors (Yellow, Blue and Red). This would allow me to make an adequate distribution of the color, and at the same time correctly position the reflections of the bubble.
For the larger circle I used a glass, and for the other two, the caps of some containers.
By having the guidelines, I made the two largest reflections. I started making a circle with a white chalk,
then I added flashes with colored pencils around the white dot and I degraded them.
For the smallest flashes apply the same technique as for large flashes; I marked some white dots, then put color around and degrade them.
As you can see in the image, I added color around the white points, and I could begin to blur the guide lines, and add purple tones in the center following the curvature of the bubble.
I kept adding color to blur the guide lines, and accentuated other flashes, until I got the fine resultl.
