Ark's latest update
Today, Ark: Survival Evolved started an update.
We've been playing Ark a lot lately. Recently, we decided to start again on a different map. Today, we saw there was an updating downloading, so we waited it out and then logged in to check what the update was all about.
First of all, the UI got updated. It looks all techy now and I'm not sure if I like it very much. I probably just have to get used to it.
The other big change is the stamina of our flyers! Everything in Ark has stamina which drains when you do things. Attacking, gathering, flying, it all costs stamina. Once you're out, you have to rest.
Flyers lose stamina while flying. Once it's drained, they have to land and regain stamina, before you can fly again. We upgraded stamina a lot in our flyers, so we didn't have to land too much. Being on the ground means you're easy pray for many flesh eating dinosaurs after all. After the update, the stamina drains faster. A lot faster. We could hardly fly from our island to the mainland.
I'm not sure why they've done this, but we very much enjoyed exploring on our flyers, so this change takes away a lot of the fun for us.
It only took us one trip to the mainland to decide that something had to be done.
Seeing as we're playing on a private instance, hosted on my machine and only while I play, I am able to adjust a lot of settings. I set the dino stamina setting to 0, but that didn't seem to do any good...
No apparent change at all. There seem to be many people with this same problem.
Next, I tried to edit the game.ini file with a little help from this site. It worked! I set it so our dinosaurs now have 10 times as much stamina.
So now, our dino's have enough stamina again. A bit more than before even, but not limitless by a long shot. Atleast this way we can still enjoy the game the way we like it, while still experiencing it how it's meant to be!

Solid article. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. The crypto space brings the biggest group of uneducated investors with it. This group will only grow.
