Dream Diary - 24/11/17

Morning Steemit,

Last night I ate lots of Lindt chocolate balls, followed by a large slice of Brie. I have to say, considering I dream 99% more than the world’s population, chocolate and cheese do not give you nightmares! I didn’t even dream half a much as I usually do. Here is last night’s dream.

Friday 24th November 2017

I dreamed I was at a pub. There was mahogany everywhere… the walls, the supporting beams, tables, bar… everywhere! I was there with a handful of people. I didn’t know any of them but they were my friends in my dream. One man was standing there with a pint of lager in his left hand. The lager was a rich auburn colour and the head was thick and creamy. The man was skinny, he had longish black hair, dark eyes and stubble. It looked like he was halfway growing a moustache as well. I didn’t pay attention to the other people and what they looked like. This man just stood out. No, not because I fancied him like some of my recent dreams! This man looked like he was uncomfortable in the surroundings. Then someone suggested to sing karaoke.

This mans face dropped. You could tell he didn’t want to do it. When the song was playing, everyone took it in turn to sing their part of the song. Then it came to this man. He looked like he was mouthing words. As he was doing this, I saw Tetris blocks raining from the ceiling. They looked like an overlay, like what you would see on a TV show or advert.

As he was slowing down mouthing these words, his head dropped into his lager and he took a big, long sip of it. Half the lager had gone. He removed his mouth from the pint glass and his moustache was covered in froth. He just stood there with his mouth closed and the froth on his moustache. He didn’t even lick it off. It seemed like he was proud of it.

Well I’m quite disappointed with the dream from last night. It was the most boring dream I’ve had in a long time and just the one dream as well. The only thing that was remotely weird was the Tetris blocks falling. My verdict is that chocolate and cheese do not give you bad dreams. If anything they stop you from dreaming! This is one hell of an Urban Myth.
