5 Must Visit Places In Vietnam
Vietnam -
country with cold past history but with well preserved nature and whole scenery view in general. Even today some people look at Vietnam as one of the worst places to visit, but in reality I would consider it as one of the best countries to visit. Since Vietnam is known to be an exotic country, flights are quite pricey (depends where you live and from where youre taking your flight atually) and for most people visiting it, it's usually once in a lifetime event.
Vietnam has population of even 94 million inhabitants and has land area of more than 330.000 square kilometers (120.000 square miles). Major spoken language is Vietnamese. It has its own currency known as đồng (₫) (VND). Timezone: UTC+7.
Halong Bay
In my opinion, it's probably the best place to visit in Vietnam. I'm huge fan of rocks, cliffs, green flora and amazingly blue water. And this location can provide you all of the listed above. Take a trip with an expedition cruise or rent a boat yourself and explore the magnificent Halong Bay.
Sapa
If you talk yourself to visit this resort, be sure to try its SPA center. They use bunch of different natural materials collected around and in addition you get to experience amazing nature around and you get known with the culture of Sapa Province. Good quality guaranteed.
Nin Bin
Place where 4 or even more rivers meet. Ninh Binh, Song Dao, Song Hoang Long, Hongha and possibly many more. To fully experience glory of this area, you definitely will need a boat trip. Just flow slow in the yellow river and enjoy yellow fields, rocks, cliffs and everything around.
Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park
If you like adventures and active holidays, I would definitely recommend you to visit Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Explore caves, jungle, rivers, lakes and enjoy all surroundings by taking either a boat trip or just a walk around. Doesn't matter if you're alone or with family, with friends or with a lover. You will definitely find your and fulfill your needs.
Mui Ne
I, myself, would consider this place a loner's place. But it's only because of how I like to experience loneliness. For me it would be a perfect location just to switch between places, town and nature with music leading my back depending on my mood. But it's just my opinion.
In general, I really like this place. I haven't visited it yet, nor I'm hoping to do it soon because of my financial status, but I do enjoy the contrast between city and wonderful nature and scenery view, which really makes me look forward to visiting it one day.
My wife went some years ago, she said it was a very beautiful place and you can do quite a bit for very little expense.
Travelling for me would be the biggest problem. Vietnam is 8400km away from where I live and I would also need visa.
