5 Must Visit Places In Malta
Malta -
a small island-country lying between Italy and Tunisia, or in other words - between Europe and Africa with city Valetta standing as its capital. Although country is pretty small, you can't actually visit and experience everything during one trip. Well, it depends on your trip length, but usually tourists run out of time. It has just too much things to show (in a positive way for sure).
Valetta
Capital of Malta. It would be my most favorite city in this country. Architecture as well as nature are perfect there. Besides offering tasty food & drinks with the view, it also gives you a chance to show off your photography skills if you're one of them.
Small country, but it can give you very valuable experience and bunch of good memories.
The Blue Grotto
Island well known of its water caves that are easy accessible by tourists. Cliff you see in the picture is the only one left of its kind in Malta. Others were damaged quite hard during big storm which sped up the process of erosion and led to a total collapse.
Comino Island, Blue Lagoon
If you're more of a beach-type person then this is a perfect place for you! Also I would recommend it for families, since the area is quite open and surrounded by the bright blue, clear waters. Also, there are whole bunch of cliffs that are available for both amateur and professional diving.
Gozo Island
Sadly, that cliff on your right also known as 'the blue window' collapsed not that long ago. It was the icon of Gozo Island. But that doesn't mean that there is nothing else left to see. You can still enjoy the Mediterranean sea, natural made pools, rocky beaches and whole nature in general.
Dingli Cliffs
Very lovely place! Incredible cliffs that get even better during sunsets. They reflect the color red of the red sun and is the perfect place for lovers. If I was in Malta, this would probably be my last stop. To say goodbye and thank the land for experience and wonderful moments.
Amazing! I have never been to Malta so this provides a nice reference for when I do go. You sold me with the pictures; Malta just got bumped up my ‘to see list’. Keep up the great posts...following for more!
