Tuesday Review || 28th Dec 2021 || Ginsoy Chinese restaurant's review || 10% beneficiary to steemit-pak

Hello everyone!

Hope you're all doing well. For the Tuesday review I'm going to review a Chinese restaurant that's based in karachi and has multiple branches in the city. If you're a Chinese food lover like me and you live in Karachi then I'm sure you've been here atleast once.

The restaurant that I'm going to review is Ginsoy. When I think about Chinese food, Ginsoy is my first option always.

The branch I usually visit is located in SMCHS. After you enter the restaurant you have to wait in their waiting area until there's a free table available. Sometimes when the place is not crowded, then the waiting time is not more than 4-5 mins. Once our table is prepared they call us upstairs where the food is served. If you're planning to visit this place on the weekend then be prepared to wait in the lounge for around 30 mins. This place is overcrowded on the weekend.

AMBIENCE
This place has a lovely ambience. The decor is simple and nice and there's a pleasant music played in the background. Although the place is not too big in space but due to the light wallpapers and the small furniture used this place doesn't look congested. I love their vintage collection of lamps which are dimly lit.

FOOD
The food here is great, rich in flavor and nicely presented. Before serving the food they serve the clients few baskets of prawn crackers until the food is served. This is quite helpful in my case because my son loves them and instead of running around the restaurant waiting for food he gets busy nibbling them. The crackers we got this time were drenched in oil and were not fresh but as soon as he mentioned it to the waiter he served us the fresh and better ones.

I ordered Thai soup as a starter. Their Thai soup is rich in flavor and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. It has green chillies, chicken chunks and a spicy tangy broth with crispy rice on the top.

For the main course I ordered chicken chowmien , masala rice and beef chilli with mojito. The food had a perfect balance of all the ingredients and flavors. The rice were a bit overcooked but the taste was fine. The chowmein was perfect and so was the beef chilli. I would give full marks to mojito.😁

SERVICE
The staff of the restaurant is polite, friendly and cooperative. If you face any problem they make sure to get it fixed quickly. The service is appreciable. The overall environment is neat and clean. Considering the quality and quantity of food the prices are quite reasonable.

My experience of this place is good so far. I can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a good chinese food.
