COLOR RUN --- ECHTERNACH LUXEMBOURG
Dear Steemians
Last weekend, more precise on Saturday July 15, a very special event took place in the small Luxembourgish city of Echternach:
The color run is a very funny event in which the sport theme plays only a subordinate role and the course is only 3.1 miles long. At five positions on the track, people are waiting with powdered paint, with which they powder the runners.
For the latter, it is not the goal to win the race, because it is not a race at all, but to become as colorful as possible.
Included in the entry fee is a white T-shirt, which should be treated with a color fixer after the race. We tried it with vinegar, what unfortunately failed. After the subsequent washing at 30 °, the T-shirt was only pink.

Letztes Wochenende, genauer gesagt, am Samstag den 15. Juli fand in der kleinen luxemburgischen Stadt Echternach ein ganz spezielles Event statt:
Der Farblauf ist ein sehr lustiges Ereignis, bei dem das Sportthema nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt und die Strecke nur 5 km lang ist. An fünf Positionen auf der Strecke warten die Leute mit Farbpuder, mit welcher sie die Läufer bepudern. Für Letztere ist es nicht das Ziel, das Rennen zu gewinnen, denn es ist überhaupt kein Rennen, sondern um so farbig wie möglich zu werden.
Im Startgeld inbegriffen ist auch ein weisses T-shirt, welches dann nach dem Rennen nach Möglichkeit mit einem Farbfixierer behandelt wird. Wir versuchten es mit Essig, was aber leider fehlschlug. Nach dem anschliessenden Waschen bei 30° war das T-shirt nur noch Rosa

Das sieht sehr schön aus. Schade, dass die T-Shirts nicht die Muster behalten haben. Es wäre bestimmt eine schöne Erinnerung gewesen. Aber die Fotos halten das alles ja zum Glück gut fest! :-)

Das kann man laut sagen, das ist wirklich ein Riesenspass. Leider hat mein Knie die Teilnahme noch nicht zugelassen aber nächstes Jahr - so Knie will - werde ich mitlaufen!
Das wünsche ich Dir...es ist zwar zermürbend längere Zeit den Schongang einzulegen aber das zahlt sich aus...Du wirst laufen wie eine Gazelle oder so😆
