Hadih maja mengentil many things, ranging from the philosophy of life, the character to Aceh, to the problems of taboo in life.

This literary idiom was born from the words of the wise men in Aceh past, then continues to grow in various community activities. There are interesting things that became the asbab of creation.

The character of Aceh in the hadih is always based on Islamic law, as in hadih maja; Adat bak Po teumeureuhom, hukom bak syiah kuala, qanun bak putroe phang, reusam bak admiral. This Hadih maja shows the assimilation of all branches of life that became the life philosophy of the people of Aceh. This is a very popular maja in Acehnese society. The meaning of harfiyah is:

The customs of Po Teumeureuhom are referred to the Sultan as a fair priestly priest who heads the kingdom, the holder of political power and the head of government (executive).

Hukom bak Syiah Kuala is based on the name of the ulama, Sheikh Abdur Rauf As Singkili (Tgk Syiah Kuala), the Royal Mufti or Kadli Malikul Adil the holder of the judicial power. This position is like the Supreme Court in modern democracy.

Qanun bak Putro Phang, affirmed the people's power in legislation (legislative). He called Putroe Phang's name a symbol of the people's representatives, because he was the one who spearheaded the establishment of the People's Consultative Assembly Hall.
