There is a pain that hurts
that bare
that afflicts
that corrects

That places us in a order
That alert us
That feels

Insists on staying
This burning pain has a name
It is betrayal
But it is not anther's betrayal
It is when we betray ourselves
When we betray what we believe
When we betray what purest we have
Our essence.
Yes, this is a pain that hurts
