Daily PhotoFeed Roundup #300

CELEBRATING THE THREE HUNDREDTH PHOTOFEED DAILY ROUNDUP

The number three-hundred is a perfect score in ten-pin bowling and a sufficient number to rout the Midianites or delay the advancement of an invading Persian horde. November 11th, 1718 was a day in history three hundred years ago, the square root of the number 300 is 17.3205080756888, and by an amazing coincidence, 300 is also the number of daily roundups that have been posted by PhotoFeed since it's inception. This calls for a celebration. How are we celebrating? By doing what we always do: sharing our three favourite photos from the last day's #photofeed. As an added bonus to our lucky three photographers, we'll be splitting 100% of the earnings from this post between them.

Derek here, the newbie on the team, pulling back the curtain and stepping aside for a personal note: I was on the other side of PhotoFeed for most of its 300 posts and was fortunate to have received a lot of love from them over the past year. From its beginning PhotoFeed has been one of the most supportive entities for artists on the Steem network, helping to organize, highlight and reward good work from the chaos of the #photography tag, and, speaking for myself and I'm sure for many others, was a big reason for my sticking around on this platform in the early days. I hope you'll join me in giving a huge THANK YOU to the PhotoFeed team: @cryptoctopus, @jrue, @aweber and @yumyumseth!

We're now using the beneficiary feature on @steempeak (far and away the best front-end website for the Steem blockchain) to give out rewards. Each photographer featured in a daily roundup will receive exactly 17% of the total payout from that post.
