A visit to our garden
After my morning walk, I went to check on our garden with the hope to spot some bees for my macro photography session. It turns out that I'm already late. I noticed that the pollens are already scattered on the petals which indicate that a bee(s) has visited them before I even arrived.
For the past few days, I've been checking on them, and similar to what happened today; I had no luck. So, while I'm here I just took some photos of the newly bloomed flowers. Don't you find them lovely?
This plant is a variety of Aster and it bears a color of deep(ish) red. I've been waiting for these plants to bear some flowers and after the many months of rain, they went through it and resulted in this lush garden.
Now, I feel like being compelled to edit these photos and turn them into black and white images as well. I think the texture in these images is suitable for monochromatic presentation and so I simply went for it. I edited all 3 pictures using the same Lightroom Presets that I formulate myself. A colored version and a black & white version,
In my workflow, the use of Lightroom Presets can really speed up my process. Also, it helps me maintain a standard when editing multiple photos subsequently. It makes my editing faster and relatively consistent.
Anyway, I think I will be discussing more about it in a separate post.
For now, please enjoy viewing the photos.
Have a nice day everyone!
