Architectural Photography: magnificent Palace of Justice in Rome, Italy

Through my entry for today´s #architecturalphotography contest hosted by @juliank, I would like to show you a very impressive (yet relatively unknown) architectural landmark of Rome, the stunning Palace of Justice.

Located in the Prati District of the city, the Palace of Justice is the official seat of the Supreme Court of Cassation and it is also home to the Judicial Public Library.

Beautifully decorated and covered with fine white travertine limestone, the building is considered one of the most impressive pieces of modern architecture as it was completed in 1910 (which is still modern by Rome standards).

As you can see in the photo, there is a little nice park with palm trees and benches in front of the palace where you can relax in shade and recharge your energy needed for exploring other architectural gems of the Eternal City :)
