Coffee and Philosophy: Rain
I have always loved rainy weather, perhaps a little too much, but regardless it's raining and I'm happy. I am one of those people that thinks non-stop when I'm awake (and when I'm asleep apparently). I have to really focus on grounding myself into the moment to clear my head, so I often say it always feels like it's raining in my head. So many thoughts trickling down, but through meditation and mindfulness training I feel that I was able to finally gain control of the clouds in my head and control which thoughts I want to cycle through and which ones I would rather go on about their business elsewhere. It feels like rain just washes away all the old and makes way for the new and my mind reflects that way now as well after washing away old ruminating thoughts. Wash away the junk and decay and make way for a brighter and happier day.
P.S. The sound of rain on a tin roof is probably the best sleeping noise too.

It's only 69 degrees Fahrenheit even with the rain. It's my favorite temperature and a nice easy drizzle.

It's sunny here in Germany B)
It's always hot and humid where I live. We are way below sea level and basically kept above (or below I guess) water and dry by a pretty sophisticated levy system.
Rain is the bomb, I don't see it too often in the desert, but when it does, it's on like donkey kong, flash floods and couches floating down the streets, Hummers getting water logged and Wranglers pulling people on wakeboards down the main roads, it gets silly, but all in all pretty cool. I hope it rains here soon LOL.
