Time to get back on track with some awesome silver content!
I feel like I'm slowly turning into one of those guys that found cryptos and start slowly talking more and more about them. Don't worry my heart is still with Silver and I'm going to get back on track. So for the next week I'm going to commit to a daily silver blog and try to focus my curation on the awesome content at the #steemsilvergold tag.
We still have the voting ongoing for the 2018 Steem Silver Round, if there is a clear winner with one design having a vast majority of votes, this will likely be the final round, but if it's once again close we will have a final head to head round of voting. There will also be a short period when we refine the design and make any minor changes. We will also hopefully be able to start pre-orders and have a set timeline at that time.
I have still be buying a lot of silver and very excited about a few orders that are one there way. I recently got this order here from @pit-bullion, with more on the way. I am also expecting some great poured silver from @stackinag47 and @silvervessel, that I can't wait to be showing off.
Not only that @ejr also just shipped a few things that came to the our PO box at the border and some new store stock that I've been waiting for for my collection, so I really need to show them off here as well.
It's almost time to do another last few months review and update my spreadsheet and calculate just how much I've added since I last checked around September. Lucky my wife never reads here since it's always surprising even to me, just how much silver I am adding on a regular basis.
I also hope to offer a discussion regarding why to buy silver and maybe we'll convert a couple more stackers from some of my new followers!

Yeah it was a holiday here monday for "family day" so everything was closed, but I expect it for sure this week! I'm pumped.
Hi @phelimint, I totally hear you! The lure of crypto is very strong as it is new, exciting and the potential for some of the leading projects is huge. Like you however, Silver is where my heart is and where it will remain no matter what happens in the crypto space.
I will say this though, I am very thankful to crypto for leading me to Steemit, because since joining Steemit I have been making posts about items in my stack, some of the items I had not even looked at for a couple years before doing the post.
Steemit has really re-ignited my passion for the shiny stuff and reinforced in my mind why I started stacking all those years ago. Steemit has also introduced me to the great community that is #steemsilvergold, you guys rock and have made my first month on Steemit such an enjoyable time.
I am very excited to read your future silver stack posts. I too will focus most of my posts around silver stacking, but I will continue to post about crypto and post about this fascinating platform that is Steemit.

This is actually encouraging me to use my cryptos to invest in silver. When my best friend decided to get married I was so broke that I resorted to selling all of my silver so that I could attend his wedding. You conjured the courage in me to return to investing in my favorite defense asset @phelimint. Thank you for this stunner..

Not entirely, it's easier to ignore that part these days.
Yeah, my silver posts (and purchases) have dropped way off. One thing I'll say is the crypto community generally is full of a bunch of snotty trolls compared to the silver community. I entered a chatroom last night, asked a question and was immediately ridiculed. Happens all the time.
Anwhoo... I'll buy some more silver when I get some more money, haha. Expecting a few orders/pieces before too long 👍🏼
