Spring is finally here! Time to play in the mud!
When your 4years old, the best part of spring is the mud! Ahh, who am I kidding, I'm in my 30s and still love the mud. Just today I tried to spray my whole family taking the truck through the yard!
Around here we are pretty low in the water table so there's some pretty sweet puddles around the yard!
Today my Son played in this one for over 30mins, it's more of a small swimming pool than a mud puddle which made it even more fun!
It was well over the top of his boots many times, and of course he tumbled in it a few times as well.
It didn't stop him from having the time of his life and even though he was dripping and cold, it was still a battle to get him inside to change.
This wasn't the first time we got a little bit too muddy, last year we also got in a bit of trouble from Mommy for ruining this coat! But it was just so much fun.
Oh to be 4 again! The simple joys!

When I was 4 years old my mother didn't let me play with mud because I would spoil my clothes. Are mothers always the same, no matter where or who they are?
Must be...lol.
Oh to be 4 again and have a dad like you! No way would I have been allowed that and I would have been worried about what was in the puddle when my kids were little if it was that deep! 😂

Haha, I love how much kids enjoy the small things in life - just like a puddle of water. My toddler recently found out about how much fun they are as well, and now he is screaming every time we pass a puddle and I won't allow him to play in it :P
Aww, put on some not so nice clothes and get out there and get wet!
