Hi Lovelies 🤗, my name's Nefisat and this is my ACHIEVEMENT 6 POST which is based on the topic; UNDERSTANDING CURATION AND COMMUNITY🏙️
My account has been on total abeyance for the past several days and this is because of some little things I have to do daily, I'm now free for some time and I'll get au fait to posting more frequently.

VOTING AND CURATION

The purpose of the post is to understand what Curation and Community means, so here I'll explain what I know about it.
To Begin with, When a user on Steemit posts content on the platform, he/she Is either Upvoted or Downvoted and these are the ways In which users can earn or get their content disliked for either plagiarism or lack of creativity.
When I first Joined Steemit, I noticed a Popular word which was used by people, and later discovered that it meant a post which has been Upvoted so that the user can earn rewards such as TRX,SBD & SP. On Steemit, there's a system which allows rewards to be recycled and this is done by the rewards of each user to be split equally between the Appointed Curators and The Author of the post which has been voted.

Users on Steemit accumulate SP(Steem Power) with time and this is used as a means of ranking and users with higher SP have more influence when they either upvote or downvote the post. For example i have 46SP and my friend makes a post and I upvote it, the rewards given to him/her from my upvote will be less when someone with 1,000SP votes the same post. Also, Users with higher amount of SP are bound to earn more when their posts are Upvoted, that is, A user with 1k SP will earn more when they are voted by a certain percentage than a user with 100SP.

DIFFERENCE IN SPLIT OF REWARDS WHEN A POST IS VOTED WITHIN 5MINS OF CREATION.⚖️

• As at the immediate time of creation of a Post, all the 50% of the Curators share will go back to the Steemit rewards pool
• After 1minute of creation and a post is Upvoted, 80% of the Curators share will go to Rewards pool
• After 2minutes of creation and a post is Upvoted, 60% of the Curators share will go to Rewards pool
• After 3minutes of creation and a post is Upvoted, 40% of the Curators share will go to Rewards pool
• After 4minutes of creation and a post is Upvoted, 20% of the Curators share will go to Rewards pool and this means that the Curators will get 80% in total.
• After 5minutes of creation and a post is Upvoted, the cutators 100% will be kept to the account.

MY PREFERRED STEEMIT WITNESS VOTE

My Steemit witness vote will be for @roadofrich & @future.witness for invention of the Steemscan.com tool, I like this tool soo much because I can use it to easily check the price of Steem(cryptocurrency) compared to other currencies and also the tool is used for Withdrawal of Rewards.

The tool allows us to view latest Transactions on the platform and to use other Decentralized Apps.

MY PREFERRED COMMUNITIES

I love music and cooking alot so I'll be doing activities which are associated with the communities that are based on them such as; I) Dance & Music community and II) Steemfoods

• Also, I'd be engaging my self with the Steem Alive Community because they are mainly Africans and they usually bring exciting contest for their subscribers weekly.
• Steemkids: this community based on the Life Of Children and contests are brought up weekly In which we write things about our childhood and also our present little ones.
