NIGERIAN POLITICAL LEADERS: THEIR PHOBIA FOR PROTEST.

For some days now, Nigerian politicians have gotten themselves in a fret over the announced protest by the aggrieved Nigerians, majorly the youths. Though not all politicians are in this category, but about 98 percent of them are already having sleepless nights over a simple protest. They could not fathom their authority, decisions and actions being challenged by the masses. What a shameless egos!

What I don't really understand about these set of political leaders who in the past had involved in this type of protest
is why they are hellbent to stop the same type of protest they led. There are evidences of their involvements in the active public demonstrations including videos of their campaign for mass turnout for a protest, against certain government reign. The phrase "do as you would be done by" does not apply to them. They soon forgot the law of karma. They just close their eyes against their head, blocking their ears with their fingers. Nothing anybody says is meaningful to them.

Why are they afraid of peaceful protest

One could wonder why they are making a mole out of the mountain of a simple and peaceful protest? Personally, I can smell a rat. When you see the children of your neighbour, standing against their father to demand what is rightfully theirs, then you must put your house in order '' IF YOU ARE WISE''. However, if you are an arrogant🤷‍♂️ father who thinks, you can deal with your own children the way you like, then you should be prepared for the unimaginable. They don't want the protest to turn out just like it did in Kenya. They are afraid of being sending to the bush to have dinners. The thoughts of them running and jumping over the fence are overwhelming them, (how can they run with their heavy belly-pot🤣🤣🤣?) They are afraid of being killed. They can't imagine their wealth being taken from them all of a sudden.

Consequently, they are prepared and united more than ever to wreak unimaginable havoc to protect themselves. Therefore, it should be noted that their fear for the protest to hold is not about protecting the country at large but more about protecting themselves.
