Heroic exit of D'tigress

There's no better way to describe the performances displayed by the female basketball team of Nigeria, popularly known as the D'tigress. No one could have believed them to showcase their prowess in this year's Olympics game. May be few had hope for a great performance from them but not to go as far as quarter final. The feat they achieved as the first team in Africa to attain. This was achieved in grand style beating two of the top five world's best, Kudos!!!

It's a pity that this run of form was put to an end. Yeah! They should hold their head high. They lost the quarter final indeed but in grand style. They lost to the almighty USA team which is arguably the best female basketball team in the world.

D'tigress, you are the face of Africa. You made us proud . You bowed out galatantly on 74:88 points.
