Color Pencil Sketching...

Hello guys...It's been a couple of days since I posted my second artwork here in steemit. And I cannot believed that many of you guys will support and upvote my work. Your comments gave me strength and courage to move forward and pursue my dream someday. I know it's not gonna easy for me and I am far beyond to reach it. But, I will make sure that...

So now guys, I gonna show you how I process my third artwork here. This time, I will try color pencil sketching. This is my first time doing it and I hope it gonna work..

Materials Used:
• Sketchpad
• Titus Color Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

My subject this time is a dog. We all know that dog is man's best friend. It is a very faithful animal and also serves the purpose of watchman.

Okey let's start then. First, I separate the 3 colors I will use for the outline. And I choose indian brown, black nd oriental blue for that.

Then I started sketching. First, I sketch it's face, ears and some details using indian brown color.

It's kinda blurry beacuse in making outline it should be lightly to be easily erase when error occur.

Next is it's eyes from left to right, nose and mouth. I used black color for this.

Afer that, I started to sketch the body.From it's back and front legs.

Oops.It looks like the legs are shorter.

So, I erased it and draw much longer and at the same time I draw its back legs.

Ok.It's better now...

Then I started to draw its tail and some details to the body.

To make it realistic, I added some background.

Done for the outline.

Next is coloring. Since I want some realistic, I will try some layering.

First, I use lemon color for the main layering and I do it just lightly...

while doing it...just remain it's chest color white.

Done the main layering.

Next step will be harder for me because I will add a step by step details. I hope I can do it guys...

Then I started the details to it's ears, face, chest and body and I used dark brown for that.

Oh no...I need some practice of this guys...huhu

After that I once again color it with color lemon but this time I colored it with increasing strength.

While doing it...

Done!

Lastly, I traced the outline with indian brown and after that I used color black to add depth to his face and eyes.

Then I finish the background with it's respective color. And also, I added my name @phantum04 at the right side.

And it's finally done!

There you go guys... I hope you will like it. Nextime I will do it better I need some more practice...hahaha
