"Weeping"(Sculpture) - Making a Wish for Peace《泣》春望【月旦评】

Wars have never stopped since the first day of human civilization.

When bombs are not dropped in our homeland, wars are just news on TV, articles in papers, stories in movies or documents in books.
Children play war games and military fans collect war souvenirs.

Wars seem far.

But bombs are being dropped in our homeland, our common homeland, when we all live on this beautiful and sad planet.
Wars are kill and destruction, fear and desperation.
Lives lose lives and hearts lose love.

Wars are not far, but right in our only homeland.

Because of some voluntary works that I do, I meet people who had to leave their countries to escape from wars. What happened in their life, in our world, are too heavy to describe by words. The pain became this clay sculpture, which carries only a tiny drop of the endless tears in this weeping world.

從古至今，人類從未停止過戰爭。

戰火未曾燒到我們的家園時，戰爭只是電視裏的新聞，報紙上的文章，電影中的故事，或文獻內的史料。
孩子們玩著打仗遊戲，軍事迷們收藏戰爭物品。

戰爭似乎離我們很遠。

但戰火正在焚燒我們的家園，我們共同的家園，這顆大家一起居住的，如此美麗又悲傷的星球。
戰爭是一片生靈塗炭，是萬千家破人亡，是無盡的恐懼與絕望。

戰爭並不遙遠，它就在我們僅有的家園。

由於做義工的關係，我見到許多為躲避兵災而背井離鄉的人們。他們的遭遇，這人間的悲苦，令人不忍轉述，惟有揉入陶土，做成為這件泥塑，而它所承載的，僅是這哭泣的世界，無盡的淚水中，小小的一滴。

It is lucky for us to worry about our jobs, bills, relationships, steemit upvotes, instead of bombs and fire.
It is lucky for us to have to face annoying bosses, stupid clients, crazy neighbors, instead of soldiers with weapons aimed on us.
It is lucky for us to see our sweethearts leave us because of another he or she, not because of a bullet.

因為幸運，我們擔心的是工作，賬單，戀情，steemit 的點讚，而不是炮火與硝煙。
因為幸運，我們要面對的是討厭的上司，煩人的客戶，神經病鄰居，而不是手握武器瞄準我們的士兵。
因為幸運，我們的心上人離開我們，是因為另一個他或她，而不是一顆子彈。

What can we do?
We are not able to stop wars. We are not those who make decisions for problems all over the world.
Our fate, too, are unknown.

我們又能怎樣呢？
我們無力阻止戰爭，更不居廟堂之高，可為天下紛爭決斷。
我們同樣是魚肉，等候命運的刀俎。

The only thing we can do, is making a wish for peace.

國破山河在，
城春草木深。
感時花濺淚，
恨別鳥驚心。
烽火連三月，
家書抵萬金。
白頭搔更短，
渾欲不勝簪。

又是城春草木深的時節，而此時，我們這顆如此美麗又悲傷的星球上，正有多少山河破碎，多少烽火連天，多少人再也等不來家書。
盼望有一天，戰爭離人類遠去，哀痛只留在詩中。

The work is still in progress.
So is our civilization.
這件工作仍在進行之中。
我們的文明也是。
