#club5050 An Orca Is Born (Power Up 30 Steem)

Hello WORLD OF XPILAR, the Orca here! Today I woke up quite early not eager at all to make my way to Mayfair, London where I am currently based two days a week. I enjoy the rest of the week better as it is even more dynamic and involves meetings, more travels and even a few hours from the comfort of my home. Two colleagues of mine got promoted in April and I don’t feel left behind at all as thanks to @xpilar I became an orca.

By midday the SP of my own account, currently over 50,000 SP made me smile and I couldn’t help but to start sharing the love. Sharing is caring as many say but very few actually mean it. I certainly do and this is why I applied for the programme.

Today I already upvoted nine posts including the nomination initiative and the Blogosphere Magazine. Three Steemians I chose to support with 50% of my voting power which made sense compared to other users here who shared many more photographs or wrote a more detailed article.

Some of the authors who I supported came back to me in no time and said that they really appreciate it which actually made my day. This is what the platform and our community are all about. There should be a dialogue rather than a monologue. Plus I am human, which I hope many prefer compared to the voting bots that will simply take your delegation, no questions asked.

Still I keep seeing professional photographers who are in #club100, power up all they earn but then they just delegate it all to upvu and similar. So sorry but the orca will be better off using all its power to support the rest of the users here who try to grow their accounts, find like-minded people and earn Steem by just entering contents and being noticed by the curators.

To all who are still unsure what is best to do here, I would say first read what is new and trendy. Don’t just keep coming weekly to enter the same contest that you have been entering for the past year or so. This is totally fine but it is very likely that you are missing out on new opportunities by sticking to the same old.

The platform isn’t for those who don’t like change but it is certainly for the hungry for success whatever this is to you guys. Please also feel free to ask questions or even suggest an initiative, be proactive and always a step ahead. This is how I do it as I am the orca now but I am already also on the hunt for my next Steemit challenge.

You don’t need to be able to afford to have regular lunches at the Ritz to write a quality post here but hopefully by posting regularly you would be able to treat yourself to an afternoon tea there in the end of the month. But the wisest of us invest which is the key to even greater success.

So let us in your daily life by telling us about what happens in your city, how your weekend went, when you save a dog or become vegan and maybe about the neighbour’s kid who even got a ladder to chat to you when you are writing your posts in the garden.

Last but not least, orcas here don’t eat dolphins @ronthroop but the very opposite! We support you double, triple, quadruple your dolphin personality, the sooner the better. We, the orcas will hopefully also inspire many more to aim high and start their own dolphin journey.

Please also feel free to suggest me an author whose post you found the most exciting recently. I like being extra busy and I will make sure I stop by and maybe even decide to support the account consistently.
