Ingredients
- 4 kamal kakdi
- 3 tomatoes
- 3 onions
- 2 potatoes
- 3 green chillies
- 2 cups of water
- 1 piece ginger
- 1 piece Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp coriander leaves
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt as per taste
Steps of Preparation
To make Kamal Kakdi vegetable, firstly take Kamal Kakdi and wash it well.
Now with the help of a knife, peel off all the Kamal Kakdi and cut all in round shape.
Now put the chopped pieces in the cooker as well as salt and water.
Now close the lid of the cooker and keep the lotus cucumber to boil. Turn off the gas when a city comes and after some time remove them from the cooker and filter them in a sieve and separate the water.
Put some oil in pan. Add chopped onions and fry them till they turn slightly brown.
After doing so, grind green chillies, ginger and tomatoes in a grinder. Now put oil in the pan and heat it. Add asafetida and cumin seeds to it, after roasting cumin, add turmeric and coriander and mix it well with fried onions.
Add the ground tomato mixture to the mixture, add the red chillies and fry for a while. Now the masala is well roasted, then add salt and garam masala and mix.
Add boiled Kamal Kakdi and chopped potatoes to this mixture and cook the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
In a short time your delicious and wonderful Kamal Kakdi vegetable is ready, take it out in a bowl and add green coriander and serve it hot.
