To communicate simply means to receive and send information, to talk to someone or people, to speak and get feedbacks, to reason with others, to rob minds with others, to disseminate information to people and getting replies from those people. Communication is said to occur when there is a feedback from recipients.

Communication is very vital in our day to day routine because its something anyone cannot do without. Nature has made it very impossible for anyone to live in isolation. So if anyone failed to communicate he stands a great danger ahead.

A noncommunicable person is simply a living dead person, hope you understand that? Dead people don't communicate, so if you keep mute you re living the opposite of life.

Today i want to take us through some few reasons why we must communicate and also look at why people keep mute sometimes.

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD COMMUNICATE

• Freedom Of Mind

When you talk to people, you have the privilege to pour out those things that have become a burden in you, you re able to express your problem to that person, those problems, those burdens which you do not have solutions to, thereby freeing your mind from thinking about it.

Telling people about your life, your situation, your problems, etc even talking to people about your successes and failures would actually put your mind at ease. It would help you psychologically to deal with situations of depression, anxiety etc. So why keep those things in your mind? Its really very unhealthy to you. Pour it out to people who could help you out of it. Forget about the shame that could come from telling it, your life is more precious than a day shame.

Most people would have moved on and do better in life had they open up their heart to people that could help them in their situation but they still lag behind, still living with past burdens that should have been eroded away.

You can salvage that business from falling if you could open up to people that knows better than you do. Talk to expert, consult experience people, don't try to do everything yourself, you could do it wrong. Why not advert the cost of losses by doing it yourself when you could get information from people on how to go about it and do it right. This is the essence of communication.

• To Receive or To Provide Solution

When communication takes place, its either one is a receiver or a giver, though both parties could enjoy the above at same time depending on the matter at stake. When you talk to people by asking some questions and those questions re answered you become the receiver likewise if you provide solution to peoples problems, you become the giver.

In which ever way you find yourself, its very good to communicate because by doing so, you re helping yourself and also helping others. Don't be too big or too busy to pay attention to people, and to create time to answer or provide solutions to peoples problem.

People love to communicate with people that would take them serious, people that would be concern about their situation, people that cares about them in their predicament. Whenever you have opportunity to help people or someone, do it with respect so that they can trust you and always come back to you anytime.

WHY PEOPLE REFUSE TO COMMUNICATE SOMETIMES.

• To Keep Secret

This area could be one that affect majority of people in life because secrets could be very dangerous in the end, if its unveiled. To have secret is one thing and to keep that secret to remain secret is another problem entirely. As a matter of fact, no secret will remain secret forever, one day it would be unveil.

Its very dangerous to keep secret because it could cost more harm if unveil later in life than if unveil during the time the incident occur. So why not tell that person about those hidden things, now that its not too late and advert your self the dangers ahead. If those secret re too heavy for you to open up your self then seek the consent of people in good position that could help you.

Don't think because you have done so well in keeping that secret for decades, that its gone and gone forever, no, a hell no. Secrets don't just fly away like that, nature would have a way of revealing it. Even when most people re dead and buried, secrets about them re still unveil even when no confessions were made by the person. How do they get to know? That's the mystery of life.

Don't keep it for fear of the outcome, look for people that can handle the situation for you if you can't, and let the bomb out. It would be more honorable to die with clean hands, than to perish with evil. When you unveil your secret you definitely have a peace of mind.

There re many more reasons why we should communicate and why people refuses to talk at times, but this is how far i can take us for today.

Lastly, communication does not means that one must talk about everything that comes his way, if you do so, you re rather a talkative rather than communicating. Talkative talk more nonsense than sense, so don't just talk, talk sensibly when you have opportunity to do so.

Always make sure you take peoples needs and problem serious. If you are told a secret by someone do not spread it to third party if you re not permitted to do so. Always open up to people in whatever situation you find yourself, so that you will live a good healthy life, and have a free mind.
