Happy birthday Steem!!!!

Words can't express how I feel right now. Yes I'm happy and it's not just because it's steem birthday but more importantly for the value it has added to people.

Over the years I've come across many platforms.... Facebook, whatsapp, twitter, reddit you name them. The truth is each of them has it's own use and advantages but you cannot just compare any to steemit you know why??

Personally, apart from Google, steemit is the next teacher!! You have virtually "everyone" here with broad knowledge. People you visit thier blogs and see a whole wide range of ideas, talent,passion and commitment all in one place just to educate you.

I won't go into details of where you can get what you are looking for here(you can do the research yourself) but what I'm saying is from food, photography, cryptocurrency, travel, health, music, art, technology, gaming, motivationals you name them. I mean it's just hard to find someone or something that gives you so much almost for free.

Why am I saying free?? Cast your mind back to 5-years ago you were on facebook, Skype, and the rest..... They didn't reward you and moreso you weren't paid either because for the greater part of the masses... You aren't working there!! But here's a place you stumble on a meme, design, or whatever and you just go with it and you could get as much as $2000 right??

Well there are lots and lots of values steemit has added to users I can't name all right now but for sure you get to meet new people daily, interact, upgrade your IQ and lots more... All with only your data!! You could even get employed too.

I could go on to say more and more about Steemit and the way it has helped Nigerians on the platform. Starting from unemployment, whereby the workforce is mostly condensed by the elderly, an average nigerian youth must stay atleast four years after completion of his/her tetiary education just because there might be a law for the workforce but there's no one seeing to it that it runs well. I'm not talking about now but when I joined Steemit there was a time sbd was $12+ if you could change that to Naira(#) and someone was making up-to 20sbd monthly(average) you could see that it releases financial stress to a whole lot.

Talk of community service, through Steemit with good minded people(cos not everyone on Steemit does it anyway), there have been creation of hubs where people(steemians mostly) could go and get electricity to use for thier works, visiting the motherless homes and other homes that need relief materials.... I mean who visited a home because of instagram??

So let me end there. It's been a wonderful journey till a day like this. Thank you Steemit for all the good things you have done. Thank you for all the sweet friends you have brought. Today I wish you become better and better daily so the world could come in contact with such a wonderful platform so we can all grow together.
