A CITY CALLED "SAINT PETERSBURG"
Saint Petersburg, is the second most populated city of Russia. It is located in Leningrad, a name that it shared with the city during Soviet times. Its name translated means "City of San Pedro" in honor of its patron saint.
This cataloged as the jewel of architecture as it is a city full of palaces where millions of dollars have been invested and has recovered part of that imperial splendor that always characterized it, and that once looked like a forgotten city throws dust. Not for nothing does UNESCO name it a World Heritage Site
In the restoration, great importance was given to restoring its many palaces, and new shops, hotels, restaurants, and very bright signs were opened that filled the city with brightness and colors. You could think of it as a European city because it was Amsterdam I inspire its architects however it is a city proper of Russia.

The city was the capital of the Russian Empire for 200 years, until in 1918 Moscow was named capital and St. Petersburg "rejuvenated" as Leningrad. In 1991, he recovered his original name.
St. Petersburg, was one of the headquarters of the World Cup Russia 2018. So it was a good opportunity to tour as it has very impressive places to meet and also all football lovers had the pleasure of enjoying the great event Russia 2018
