Germany fails to hit the net, missing many chances

Germany were heavily criticized after they crashed out from the group stage of the summer world cup that held in Russia.

However, from the game yesterday, there are glimmers of hope as Germany held France to a goalless draw. Germany even looked the better side towards the last quarter of the game.

Toni Kross and Thomas Muller have been ruing on a number of missed chances they had to have won the game.

The game ended scoreless in the nations league opener for both sides.

France didn't look like the team that had taken the world on a ride when they lifted the trophy of the world cup in Russia. It was Germany who looked to want a win as the host had several missed chances.

Thomas Muller revealed that Germany would have liked to win the game but the Bayern Munich forward himself missed a number of chances to win the game for his side.

Toni Kroos commanded the midfield the way he's known to do with perfect passes and he revealed he was disappointed with the result.

Germany will have another chance to prove they are still a force to reckon with in world football when they host Peru on Friday. France will be playing the same night albeit against Netherland.
