Real Madrid has a point there. These fouls would have resulted in penalties by VAR review in any league. But not yesterday night. Strange, but actually not, if you take the circumstances into consideration. Barcelona got protected because of the highly explosive situation in Catalunya right now. I think, actually, I am sure, the VAR did not intervene because it could have been the spark for unrests in and around the stadium, as Catalans would have felt that they were treated badly by the mighty Spanish Republic...

Sad, but a fact.
