     Bireuen is the name of a city in Aceh Province, Indonesia, the second largest city in Aceh after Banda Aceh, Bireuen City is also crossed by the eastern Sumatra highway, formerly Bireuen City was crossed by the train line from Banda Aceh - Medan.  Bireuen City includes Juang City sub-district, Kuala sub-district, Jeumpa sub-district and Juli sub-district.

 The nickname Kota Juang assigned to Bireuen Regency is interesting to trace its origins.  Moreover, there are still many people who don't know it.  Even those who profess to be Bireuen.

Tgk Sarong Sulaiman, a historical actor and warrior who is now 110 years old, who lives in the village of Keude Pucok Aleu Rheng, Peudada Bireuen, when met by Narit at his house, looks still healthy and his memory is still strong.
