Making Your Own Chalkboards

Have you ever used chalkboard paint to make your own chalkboards? If not, grab a bottle or spray can of chalkboard can and get busy.

Making chalkboards is so easy.

I used a foam brush and painted this cup with chalkboard paint. The directions say to apply the paint in one direction (across) then let the paint dry an hour and paint a second coat in the other direction (up and down). Then let the paint dry over night and you have a chalkboard!

I've made chalkboards on wood, plates, cups, and you can too! Then you can write your own message on the chalkboard.
