Gratitude
Lately have been kind of low and been wondering how low can it get? Been asking God various questions, feeling so empty that I forget to pray at times, I think for a moment I was lost and I needed to find my way back, things was not going as planned, I lost a friend, I felt like I'm just wasting my life... and I was like God I need you to show me who I am in this season, I just don't wanna live in this world to survive, I want to be impactful and significant and I wasn't seeing any of that in my life right now and I just needed him to show me why He created me that I got really impatient, letting my own emotions get the best of me but God is truly faithful, He kept sending me all these signs and I kept ignoring because I was too blind to see
The first thing He did was to refer me back to the post I wrote, how well can you hold on to what you know
Reminding me it's OK to get to the point where you don't know no more but can you still trust Him in your brokenness?
You just have to trust the process!
Then He took me right back and remind me the things He has done for me and how He has always come through for me, He remind me of the girl I used to be and the girl I am now. I know God have been faithful in my life and to Him alone be the glory. All things are working together for my good and it doesn't matter what my situation is telling me I know that my God is bigger than that, it doesn't matter what this stress is telling me I know God is bigger than that.
So God please forgive me of my childishness, I'm grateful oh lord, for the air I breathe and how far you've brought me, to you alone be all the glory.
Letter to myself.
Don't get too consume with what is not working that you forget all about what is working.
God has never failed you once and He won't start now
His love is forever and trust that the plans He has for you is good
Remind still and trust He is God
Focus on Him and starve yourself distractions
He is always ready to help
No weapon, no lies, no devil, no demon can ever go to war with God's word and you are God's word.
Though the vision may tarry,wait for it, it will surely come.
PS. This applies to all believers too.
Trust me, you are not alone in this. I don't even know what my talents and gifts are yet. I don't know what to do and my passions. I have just like 6K in my acct but fuck all that. You still have your life ahead of you and everything gonna start falling in place when the time is right. Its okay to feel that way but don't let media life deceive you. You are young and you have an interesting life ahead of you. See all you worried as adventures that you still figure out with time.
