Community work , a strong tool to sustainable development.

Good morning and trust we all had a great night and are doing just fine.
On today's article , I will like to share with u the inpact of community uniyt to sustainably take care of their community issues.
In 2016 the community lost a child , who drawned after falling off a locally made bridge , and since that incident they came tother and decided to raise funds to it's effect.

When a survey was carride out I was a part of that team and after the survey , the amount proposed to construct a modern bridge to replace that one was estimated at 17million FCFA ($34000) . This amount was seen to be too huge to be raised by our small community , but the contribution started imidiatly and , this inspired many , including those abroad to chip in something every year , families had to put in 10000fcfa ($20) compulysory every year for 4year we have been raising that amount, we also appealed for funds from other individuals and communities and churches.
The work started in January 2020 and today we have a new structure to replace the old one.

This bridge has brought much joy in the community and has foster serious community project , and has inspired other communities to unite and take action on issue affecting their every day life's.
Personally I have seen the mystery , behind the saying unity is strength.
