She stood in front of the mirror
Looking at the reflection
For once she didn’t see
Solomon and gloom
But a quirk of a smile
So beautiful in nature.

As she looked down
She thought to herself
I too can find happiness
Within my heart
To pass throughout the day.

Her smile rose
Her eyes beamed of light
As though the greatest of news
Had come her way.
Bliss had overcome her face
As she saw the reflection
In the mirror.

    I love that when I saw the painting, I knew it was yours. You have a style and it's distinguishable. As for the poem, it is uplifting - it tells a story of triumph! Loved it :)
