Team Uganda Contest / this is what I do to stay fit

Hello everyone hope you are all doing great . It’s a great pleasure to participate in this wonderful contest . Great appreciation go to @yohan2on for coming with this contest because they keep us busy .

These are the following things that I do to stay fit
First and foremost I would like to explain to you what fitness means

what is fitness

  • fitness is the ability to carry out daily tasks with vigor and alertness, without undue fatigue, and with ample energy to enjoy life.

If you want to be fit you have to have a body that is healthy and can endure the daily physical strains you put in the body

  • There are four types of fitness which include

  • Endurance

  • Balance

  • Strength

  • Flexibility

Importance of fitness

  • It helps in weight Management.

  • It reduces your health risk.

  • Fitness strengthens your bones and muscles.

  • Fitness improves your ability to do daily activities and prevent falls.

  • Increase your chances of living longer.

These are some of my daily routines that I do to stay fit

I do exercise my body daily.

  • I exercise my body daily for at least one or two hours by running , jogging around our home area and having a walk for an hour . In most cases I do practice with our neighbors at home though they are still young but they give me company

I eat the right food and portion each meal

  • To Keep fit I do determine my eating pace however much my stomach complains I have to abid by my rules by eating the right food and portioning each meal that I eat. This has helped my body to stay fit . I also eat a lot of fruits and vegetables because they improve on our health .

Having enough sleep

  • You need to have enough sleep to make your body fit . I know most people work trans night which makes them have less sleep hence affecting there body fitness. One should at least sleep for eight hours in a day in order to keep your body fit and free from diseases

Staying motivated

  • I always stay motivated in everything I do and also I keep a positive mindset in everything that I involve myself . If you stay positive, you will be able to push to get a body that is fit.

Drinking plenty of water

  • Drinking a lot of water also helps in making ones body to be fit.

Reading books also makes one to stay fit

These are some of the benefits of reading books to stay fit.

  • Reading books makes one to become more empathetic because they view the world from a point of view and learn a lot from what they read

Reading books improves on someone’s health

  • For example when you do exercises this helps your body stay healthier longer, reading is an exercise that helps keep your brain fit.

Reading books reduces stress

  • That’s to say when you are stressed and you get a novel to read , the novel maybe interesting which will help you to release the stress and now feel better and by the the time you finish reading the novel the stress could have reduced.

Reading also helps one to have a better sleep

  • Reading a book helps you to relax your brain and after relaxing your entire body when it comes to bed time one will have a better sleep because he or she had relaxed her body first.

Reading books sets an example to your children

  • That’s to say when your children see you reading novels or books all time they will admire you and instead of wasting time watching television they will also pick up there books and novels and read and this helps to make there bodies fit and smarten there brains .

On weekends mostly I always go to the peach because my home is near a school and they have a basketball peach where I normally go on weekends to practice because currently am not perfect at basketball am just in my training session but I really do love the game because it so interesting and every time I play it I feel my body is improving day by day
This game has also helped in improving my body fitness because before we start the game we first run around the peach and then do some push ups like for for ten minutes before the start of the game and this exercise has improved my body fitness .
At least am happy because most of my weekends are occupied by various activities that have made my body fit like basket ball . Am just hoping to learn football 😂😂soon because I feel it's a fun and interesting game. I always admire when I see people playing football and sometimes I be like I wish I knew how to play football.😂

I therefore encourage you all to do physical exercises in order to stay fit .
