Food challenge contest week #108|| For kids and parents| beniseed soup with @peace-woka
Hello friends it is me @peace-woka
✅What is the name of the dish that you have made this week? And why did you choose this dish?
The meal that I have decided to prepare this week is beniseed soup, beniseed soup is among my favorite soups, in my family we all like beniseed soup, especially when it is prepared properly and then served with pounded yam,
But today it is not with pounded yam instead it is with tuwo, a swallow made from corn flour, when I was asked to prepare the beniseed soup I was surprised because we don't normally prepare beniseed soup with tuwo, except if it is swallow that is made from rice.
The reason for me preparing beniseed soup is that, we all wanted to eat beniseed soup and it has been a long that we ate the soup, so I guess that is the reason why I was asked to prepare beniseed soup.
✅ What is the process of making it? (Share steps with ingredients)

Steps on how to prepare beniseed soup
Before starting my cooking I already had all the ingredients ready for the preparation of my beniseed soup.
Step 1 In the image of the ingredients you can see that I have prepared all my ingredients, so to begin the cooking I will start cooking my meat properly.
Step 2 In a pot containing my already washed meat I added some salt, Maggi, and some grounded pepper and onions with water almost covering the meat in the pot.
Step 3 I covered the pot and allowed it to cook until it was soft, then I added my dry fish and covered the pot again and after doing all this, I tasted my meat to make sure all the ingredients were properly mixed.
Step 4 I poured my beniseed Into a bowl, added some sliced onion, and used my hands to mix it well, I learned this method from my sister, so I decided to try it.
Step 5 When the beniseed was well mixed I poured the palm oil into the meat on fire, then allowed it to boil small and immediately started by putting in my mixed beniseed into the mixture on fire.
Step 6 I rolled it in the form of balls because that is the way my sister usually prepares her beniseed soup and the entire family loves her method of preparing it.
Step 7 So after making sure that all my beniseed were rolled in the form of balls, I covered the pot and allowed it to boil for a long time on low flame so that it would not burn.
Step 8 When the soup had boiled for a long time I then tasted it again just to be sure that everything was normal.
Step 9 Now I confirmed that the soup was normal all the ingredients had been properly mixed, I then added my vegetable (ugu) then left it on fire for about 5 to 8 minutes and that is all my beniseed soup is ready.
