Deception is almost as good as magic with amplification machine, as it gives you the tools to be able to deal with all of the threats that the opponent throws at you, with a relatively low amount of mana. This becomes ideal as you are able to keep amplification machine on the board for a lot of turns and generate loads of cards from it, something that deception players are no stranger to (generating cards I mean).
