Low cost ways to improve your home

Let's face it, home repairs can be quite expensive and intimidating at times. Here are a few low cost ways to cab spruce up your home and give it a fresh look without killing your bank account.

I. Paint. A fresh cost of paint, whether it be interior or exterior, can do a lot to make your home look fresh and updated.

II. Repair drywall knicks and dings. Making your walls completely flat again with some drywall mud where needed can go a long way in getting rid of that lived in look. After time most walls accrue quite a few knicks, dings and indentures. We usually don't realize it's happening because we're around then every day and we're used to the way they are. Just like we don't see ourselves aging.

III. Landscaping. Putting some new mulch and planting some flowers, trees and shrubs where needed can go a long way in giving your home a whole new look.

IV. Power wash. Over time the exterior of a home can become extremely dirty. Rent a power washer for a day and it will give the exterior of your home a nice,fresh, clean look.
