CNBC doesn't understand how the market works
CNBC came out with a story today titled "Here's the worrisome 'conundrum' taking place in the bond market right now". The piece is about the falling bond yields currently in the market. If the good folks down at CNBC had half a brain they would understand that there is absolutely nothing worrisome about decreasing bond yields right now. The reason is that, historically, there has been an inverse correlation between the movement of stock and bond prices. Meaning that when stocks do well, as they are doing now, people move more money out of bonds and into the equity market. It is not rocket science, and it is certainly nothing to worry about. Just another example of the constant negativity and fear mongering done by the MSM.
