At all times, give thanks.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Thinking:
What is interesting about this verse is that it says "all things", not just "some things". That is, even the difficulties we face, which we often don't understand why, also cooperate together for our good. That is why we must give thanks to God not only in victory but also in adversity, not because God rejoices in our trials, but because it is through our trials that our character is refined, just as gold is refined in the fire to remove impurities.

Prayer:
God, help me to give thanks not only in victory but also in adversity, so that my soul is not depressed and my heart is not sad.May I always remember that the greatest of all joys is the joy of salvation, won at a high price through Jesus there on the cross. May I see in everyday tribulations where the Lord wants me to be perfected. Amen.
