I used to play my favorite PSP(PlayStation Portable) games on my android phone using this emulator up until now. Its initial release was 5 years ago and i decided to contribute a new design for its icon.

Here is the Original Icon of the PPSSPP Emulator.

I will show here the process on on how i created the new design.
Using Sketchup and Vray

First, i created the model from the original icon buttons and make it 3D using sketchup.

Then, i created circle as icon boundaries. To make it appear more like an icon. I also decreased the height of the buttons prior to the next step.

Then, i inserted the text "PPSSPP right above at the center the buttons that i edited earlier.

After finishing the whole model, i assigned the materials and colors to the design.

And the last step. Rendering the image using Vray with its default lighting.

Here is the rendered and complete image of the icon.
