Week feedback CR for South Africa

WEEK 1

When I woke up this morning I heard the following phrase;

“There is a life in the future and it comes for us every day”

Isn’t this an amazing phrase? Life is too short not too live it every day.

With this my day has arrived for my first report as country representative for South Africa.

When I submitted my application I vow to support three things on Steemit;

  1. Support of Steemians (new and old)
  2. Growth and development of STEEM and Steemit
  3. Promote and support new projects and initiatives launched

Have I succeeded in these three promises? I leave it to you to be the judge.

“And that is what I like about you, your humility and service, I always follow your posts and despite your reputation you are very helpful. You have great rewards on earth and in heaven, that's why I follow in your footsteps.”

South Africa

Putting South Africa back on the Steemit map is going to be a difficult task but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

I’ve send messages, emails and had phone calls with numerous “old” Steemians. As per one of them; “The proof is in the pudding”. I can only keep on building my account to show them that the pudding is indeed very sweet.

INITIATIVES

World Smile Project

I am working at bringing the WSP to South Africa hence my note at the bottom of my #learnwithsteem posts.

“This post is supporting the @smilesouthafrica project which is to be launched soon”

I didn’t realized that the need of my country fellowman is so big. It is easy when you can open a tap and have water flowing, pack a lunch box for your kids and put food on the table. Which project to submit for approval is going to be difficult task.

HIGHLIGHTS

My first highlight of the week was for sure the launching of my posts in support of the #learnwithsteem tag.

There are so many reasons why education is important but all in all it is the one thing we all need for our future well-being.

There is so much we can learn from on Steemit.

My second highlight was receiving my Steemit business cards.
It is time to get going!

See you next week!
