Six days ago I committed myself to this contest. Guess what?
Here I am!
My powerup history for the week |
---|
Yes I did it! It gives me great pleasure to share my powerup history of the week with you.
I powerup a total of 497.717 STEEM for the week.
The Steemian experts tell us that it is good to powerup our STEEM. Can I tell you something, they are right!
There are so many different and good reasons to why we should power-up by here is mine;
- It give me great satisfaction as a person when I can push that powerup button. I feel proud of myself.
- I am in Club100 and I am not going to let go of it hence the fact that I have to powerup.
- It gives me the opportunity to “play it forward” and support other Steemians as it increase the value of my vote.
I do believe that by powerup I am investing in my future on Steemit which ensures future financial stability and security.
My posts over the last week and a half has not performed as normal which hindered me in my twee weekly powerup.
As we all know, votes are not guaranteed therefore, I have to stay positive and I have to let my fingers do the talking. I always tell Steemians to never give up and to keep on writing quality posts. This time round I am the one who must tell myself to keep on going.
My CSI history for the week |

VOTING CSI | Last 7 days |
---|---|
Percentage | 16.4% |
Self vote | 0% |
Total upvotes | 189 |
Accounts | 104 |
Voting is the crucial part of the social function of Steemit. CSI stands for "Community Support Index" and that is exactly what it is.
Steemit is restricting Steemians from voting left, right and centre by allowing for “voting power”. If each vote your make your voting power decrease.
We use the CSI function to regulate our voting performance, our self votes and up-votes. It is the “measuring tool” of our voting performance.
To increase your CSI % you have to continually vote on post and replies of fellow Steemians.
My posts for the week |

I made a total of 8 posts, 7 during the week plus this 1 = 8
My replies for the week |

I love reading and I love replying to the posts of my fellow Steemians.
My performance can be measured on that weekly statistics from <7> Steem Seven
I am currently ranked 6th with a total of 125 replies.
Herewith my list of 6 quality replies I made in the last 7 days by number, user, community and screenshot.
My biggest challenge and my most memorable |
---|
My biggest challenge this week was to cope with the power cuts we are currently experiencing in South Africa.
I had to find the odd times to post and support and I also had to encourage myself to stay positive.
For the first time since my return to Steemit I took part in various contests this week. I found it extremely enriching meeting new Steemians and the manner in which these communities welcome me was very rewarding.
Lesson:
I’ve come to the realization in this last week that Steemians do care!
My recommendation to get more users to comment on my post and to upvote my posts |
---|
- Get involved in contest
- Get involved in different communities
- Play it forward
- Keep on writing quality posts!
10% to Steemkidss

Great post, resteemed and upvoted on @southernafrica
This is great. I will like to participate but i did not screenshot my powerup. How do i do it.
All that you must do is to take a screenshot from your phone before and after you have done. You can then upload both.
You must be able to proof that you have done the powerup.
Strongs!
Ok
Congratulations!

It seems like the power cut is almost universal. Lol. This rainy season comes with its challenges sometimes and my street has had its fair share.
Reading this kinda rekindles my energy.
And it is still going on.. nearly 3 weeks now.
Luckily we now have only 4 to 6 hours per day.
If only... if only.. there was enough electricity for the whole world (•ิ‿•ิ)
Thank you for reading and engaging with my post!
Uh oh!
So sorry about that.
