God's awesome creations

I have been hiking for the past few years and it did not only help me tremendously in my fitness regimen but also made me appreciate the vastness of nature and its picturesqueness. It then dawned to me the beauty and mystery of God’s creation whether on lowlands or on highlands- God is beyond awesome and all his creation worships him.

Short-of-breath I maybe on my hikes, but the pleasure it gives on seeing lush green is worth all of it. I take every opportunity to take short breaks to regain my strength and stamina and make it a point to be grateful for the scenes before me. Every natural ups and downs of the trail, every mud, rocks, and eroded topsoil i trudge i embrace it all. If I’m out in the nature, chances are my smile is wide, my thoughts clear and in awe for God’s creation.

When I don’t hike i feel homesick for a place i have grown to love, one where body is tired but at peace, my soul and heart is full for this is where i commune with my creator.
