Seriously considering a tarot blog...
I do not think tarot is an accurate predictor of the future any more than the local weather man, but it has a rich history. It is loaded with symbolism and 30 years of study has made me adept. You like a certain deck? Make your own yet?
I think many things can be read into, in order to provide a somewhat useful lens for consideration as one is living life. The degree to which anything may be taken for an accurate predictor varies widely. I have had some extremely accurate predictions occur with the use of different tools (tarot included), but wouldn't say that accuracy occurred due to the tool employed, but rather the ability of the one interpreting.
I have many decks I enjoy, but the ones I go to most aren't tarot at all, but Sibillas. I read on La Vera Sibilla quite often.
I have considered creating a deck, but not at this moment. I have other projects I'm working on which take more of my attention.
I'd definitely be interested to check out your readings if you decide to do them.
I think it takes a good storyteller to do tarot. I have an interesting story for you and may post about it. About 8 -10 yrs ago I won a surprise auction and the person sent me 2 boxes of stuff. One box took forever to come and the person wrote and said that box was meant for me and hoped it did not get lost. I finally received it and it was VERY heavy. Inside was a huge crystal ball. It was amazing and weird. Gee, I think weird follows me around..lol

I bought a tarot deck for Halloween a couple of years ago. I still read occasionally, when I'm feeling pensive or I don't know, I guess when I want to avoid actually thinking up ways to solve a problem.
I don't think tarot is real, in the sense that it can actually predict anything. I think it's all just guesswork. Because the cards themselves have pretty general meanings and definitions, like 'lack of direction' or 'feeling in love'...you just take that and find where it applies/works in your own life :)
While I don't suppose it does much for my friends, I think it's really helpful for me to read my own. Not because the cards are going to solve anything, but as I said, it's all about intuition, gut and putting 2 and 2 together, so probably what I "interpret" as the answer of the cards is in fact my own solution.
