Don't Settle For Less

Settling for less is likened to mediocrity,It is accepting to be in a level that you ought to be greater than, or constantly accepting Average. Settling for less is not always a conscious choice as many people do not realize that they have indeed settled.
Now when I mean settling, I just don't mean physical stuffs. One can settle in all areas of life, be it financially, spiritually, Romantically and even Emotionally. Do not allow yourself recede to just accepting what you have always got,when you know that you can achieve so much more.

People settle for less due to different reasons, it may be either of the following;

• success seems difficult
• life maybe quite challenging
• low self esteem
• Fear

Now don't you forget that nobody reached his/her potential without overcoming these. Yes! Success may seem difficult, but don't forget that that nothing good comes easy.

If someone were to say that he is where he is because of challenges of life. He should know that life indeed is not a bed of roses. Problems,failures and challenges are bound to come. But when it hits us,we should not stay down but rather rise and try again.

People with low self esteem do not have confidence in themselves, they don't believe that they have what it takes or are worthy enough to amount to something. Is this what is keeping you down? Brethren begin to work on yourself, educate yourself on how you can flex your self esteem muscles.

Fear of the future can be a heavy weight around a person's neck. This fear can be managed. It should not overcome your capabilities of taking risks. If you don't take risks, and are always afraid. This would only lead to your downfall

Now let me relate this post to steemit, there are boundless opportunities here. Most people here have the potential to be amongst top earners with their well thought out articles. But having joined a particular community that supports them, and they now earn few Sbd on each post. They have gotten comfortable with the low earning and stopped striving to get to the top.
