Moeda de 10 centavos de Real do ano de 2000
A moeda que apresento hoje ainda está em circulação. É a moeda de 10 centavos de Real cunhada no ano de 2000. É uma moeda é considerada escassa, e por esse motivo é valorizada entre os colecionadores de moedas. Foram produzidas em torno de 26.880.000 unidades. Parece muitas moedas, mas para uma moeda de centavos é muito baixo o número de unidades produzidas. O anverso apresenta a efígie de D. Pedro I, proclamador da independência do Brasil, primeiro imperador do Brasil. Sua imagem está ladeada pelo dístico Brasil e por motivos alusivos à proclamação da independência política do país, ocorrida em 7 de setembro de 1822 em São Paulo, às margens do ribeirão Ipiranga. Já no reverso apresenta à esquerda, linhas diagonais de fundo que dão destaque ao dístico correspondente ao valor facial, seguido dos dísticos centavos e o correspondente ao ano de cunhagem. Segundo catálogos de colecionadores esta moeda tem uma cotação em torno de 20 reais. O difícil é encontrar alguém que pague esse valor pela moeda.
