Party timeeeee!
It's summertime in Portugal! That time of the year where almost every little village has their anual festivities, normally to honor the village's saint. And that normally means...
Cheap drinks!
And typical portuguese groups of "musica pimba": this is a kind of music very popular in our country and in these kind of festivities. It basically works around very, VERY ambiguous lyrics, normally not understandable by someone that is not comfortable with our language. For the usual listener it's just a normal tune, for anyone paying attention... it will probably have a sexual connotation! 😂
These kind of festivities also attract a handful of veeeeeery strange individuals (that normally visit most of the parties in the surrounding villages!), that will normally be drunk shortly after the party starts.
All of that, and the usual chance to see old friends (or make new ones!) and remember younger times... makes summer parties cooooool!
So, if you're visiting the country, come and join the fun! If you're portuguese... you know what I'm talking about for sure, right? 😉

Sounds very similar to the local fiestas in Spain I used to go to. Always four days long too - Such partying! Haha Hope you had a great time.
They are! I think the ambiguous lyrics are more of a portuguese thing, but can be wrong. Spanish people know how to party too for sure. Thanks for visiting!
