LOTS OF OPTIONS COULD BE COUNTERINTUITIVE.
By this topic I mean that giving someone lots of options or having lots of options to choose from yourself in any given scenerio could generally neutralize the advantages there is in having options in the first place.
The major benefit of "OPTIONS" being available in the first place is to make decision making easy.
However, the result reaching us from recent studies have postulate that the more options a person has to choose from the more confused the person becomes. This is called "The Paradox of Choices".
Let's explain with an illustration. Questions without options in quizzes called (Sub-objective questions) are difficult. Questions with the standard four options called (Objective questions) are easier. While questions with just [True] or [False] options are the easiest.
Better decisions are made in True or False questions because there are fewer options.
This believe has also been collaborated by researches in Business. Example, when a customer has a lot of varities of goods to choose from, they end up walking away without chosing any at all.
Today you should learn that having or presenting people with too many options lowers satisfaction and results in paralysis, which is again called THE PARADOX OF OPTIONS.
