We Are Back!

An African sunrise at the airport!

We left 5 days ago from an airport in Gauteng, on our way to some meetings in Cape Town, a two hour flight from Johannesburg. As we arrived at the airport of our departure, we were greeted by a wonderful countryside sunrise.
A German friend has a lovely guesthouse for tourists in the mountain regions of the Western Cape and we were looking forward to the visit!
But first let me show you the sunrise at the airport!

Of course I also had to wait for a bird to touch the sun!

Two hours later our flight arrived!

This is the plane that arrived from Cape Town and after downloading it's content, it would re-fuel and take us on our journey to our destination. Unfortunately during our visit a lot of time was taken up by our meetings with leaders in the charity world and so we had very little free time to explore. Fortunately Peter and Mai, the guesthouse owners were very graceful hosts and we spent some lovely early mornings and evenings at their guesthouse.
