A new hunter in town!

Here we had another new youngster around today! I don't know him as this is his first appearance on the high tree! We can only assume that "Horace" had two youngsters and that this is the other one!

And as usual the "Jacky Hanger" is waiting below to go and clean up after the Kite has finished his meal!

This guy has a very aggressive look about him and he was not in the least disturbed by the kiddies party that was going on in the gardens below him!

But look at the pride and the beauty of this guy when he straightens up.

Again, I will refrain from placing a photo of the actual kill, due to a previous complaint!
Let me just say that wild rats and mice carry diseases and these birds amongst others keep the open veld's fairly protected! They are also unaffected from any diseases that their prey might carry!
Of course we know about their legendary eye sight! 8 to 10 times sharper than the human eye!
