A Mountain Fire Transforms the Sunset!
The fire in the mountain's smoke loaded fog roll in and color's the setting sun!
This is the other surprise that I mentioned before continuing with the wine estate (Part 3). Too beautiful not to post and amazing to see the colors of the sun change, as I watched the performance during the late afternoon.
Let me show you how it started and proceeded!
Looks like a falling fire ball doesn't it? This is the smoke cloud coming in and covering the sun!
I saw a slight color change and decided to have a closer look at the sun!
Here we go! Have a look at the gradual color change! Please note that no photos were edited!
A pink sun? How wonderful and then as you will see in the first photo, the closer that the sun moved to the ocean's surface, the lighter its color became, as the smoke laden fog drifted over just above the water.
As the fire is till raging near the mountain pass now for the second day, I might get a repeat performance today at sunset. I will keep an eye and see what I can get.

Probably one of the only good things to come of the fires, the smoke makes for great photo's. I guess everything dark cloud does have a silver lining?
So true my friend, but in this case we feel for the little ones such as tortoises and other slow movers that are in the way of the fires!
